Google Ad Grant
Your church may qualify for up to $10,000 a month in free Google Ads.
Most churches qualify. Most are not using it. Grant management is an add-on service, priced separately from your Digital Pastor plan.
Up to $120,000 a year that most churches leave on the table
The Google Ad Grant gives eligible nonprofits up to $10,000 per month in Google Search ads, and churches with 501(c)(3) status qualify. The grant covers the ad spend; you only need someone to manage the campaigns. Managed correctly it puts your church in front of people already searching for “churches near me” and “Sunday services in my city”.
The grant comes with rules. Break them and it gets suspended.
Three ways churches lose it without realising.
Compliance rules
Google requires a 5% click-through rate, valid conversion tracking and specific account structures. Miss the threshold two months running and the grant is paused.
Keyword restrictions
Single-word and overly generic keywords are banned, and quality scores below 3 get keywords paused. Most churches do not know these rules exist.
Bid limits
The grant caps bids at $2.00 per click unless you use Smart Bidding. Without a proper strategy your ads lose every auction to paid advertisers.
We manage the whole thing
An add-on for Digital Pastor Growth customers, at additional cost.
Application and approval
Including the initial grant application if you do not have it yet.
Keyword and ad strategy
Targeting local church searches, with ad copy written specifically for church visitors.
Compliance monitoring
We keep your grant active, with monthly reporting on clicks, visits planned and guests acquired.
What this costs
Two separate things. The ad spend comes from Google through the grant, up to $10,000 a month; the amount a church actually uses depends on approval and campaign performance, and is not guaranteed. Our management of the grant is an add-on service with its own fee, not included in any Digital Pastor plan. We quote it before you commit to anything.
Next Sunday, somebody new walks in.
Make sure they hear from you before they wonder whether it was worth it.
No contract to see it. Live in under a week if you want it.
